TRIP TO CALIFORNIA
If you would like to see part one of my California adventure, press the video below to watch the full vlog.
Let’s begin with the eats! Here’s my top 3 in order of my most to least favorite.
The Terrace : 9/10 https://www.maybournebeverlyhills.com/restaurants-bars/the-terrace/
I tried the Homemade corn agnolotti with black truffle and Pardon My French to drink with Bombay Sapphire Gin, Elderflower, Meyer Lemon, and Champagne. The view and setting are absolutely phenomenal. This restaurant was inside of the Mayborne Beverly Hills and there was also outdoor seating available. If you’re looking for something super upscale but still very relaxed definitely check out this restaurant I highly highly recommend it.
Santolina : 8/10
This restaurant was on the rooftop of the Beverly Hilton hotel. The views of the city were absolutely stunning. I tried the salmon which was OK and had a cocktail which was also OK. The dessert was phenomenal though!
MERV GRIFFIN
Casamigos Blanco Tequila, Watermelon, Rhubarb
PAN ROASTED SALMON
Herbed Farro, Pickled Shallots, Mediterranean Tartar Sauce, Asparagus and Snap Peas Salad
HALVA CAKE
Marble Halva, Walnut, Confit Apple, Sweet Cream Gelato
The butcher, the baker, the cappuccino maker: 7/10
This restaurant was in West Hollywood and I believe Sunset Plaza. There was also an indoor outdoor aspect, like most places in California. The views were beautiful, I just wish we sat inside it was a little chilly and the food got cold quickly. The breakfast did not disappoint and the hot chocolate art was beautiful.
Lastly I thought I’d share a couple of outfits with you guys from the trip. I genuinely tend to pack pretty minimally when it comes to vacations. I like to pick pieces that I can mix and match for easier outfits. When in a warmer climate it’s a little harder to dress well, you’re more focused on staying cool. I recommend getting the Lookscope app to help you plan outfits for your next vacation!
